Bishop Stanley Williams is Founder and Senior Pastor of Fire of the Word Faith Center Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his wife, Dr. E. Denise, shepherd a growing flock of people of all ages, races, and nationalities, and have inspired a unity of saints from varying socioeconomic and political backgrounds.
Bishop Williams earned his Bachelor of Theology from Cornerstone University and Seminary. Moreover, he was ordained in 1986 by Bishop Jeffery Banks, founder of Revival Temple Center of Deliverance in Newark, NJ. Over the past 15 years of ministry, Bishop Williams has resided on several Boards of organizing churches and Pastoral Fellowship. He is the president of West Jacksonville Restoration Center, a Non-Profit Organization that reaches out to the neighboring communities.
Bishop Williams has traveled throughout the United States teaching in the area of financial and spiritual growth to the many congregations he has come to know. Bishop Williams desires to see people reach their highest potential in the Body of Christ.
Bishop Williams has allowed God to use him for His will and purpose. As a result, he has developed an Evangelistic ministry of anointing and power that has reached as far as London England, Texas, New York, Oklahoma, Washington, Georgia, Florida and many other areas throughout the United States. His ministry of healing, deliverance and restoration has blessed many. Souls have been saved, bodies healed, yokes broken, captives set free and oppressed delivered under the mighty anointing of this man of God.
Bishop Williams also has a strong teaching anointing in the area of finance, tithes, offerings, and seed-sowing. Many have been blessed financially after following the principles taught in his finance and budgeting seminars.
Bishop Williams has come forth with an Apostolic and Prophetic message for the Body of Christ in this time! As he pastors and unselfishly imparts his anointing to those sent by God to learn from him, Bishop Williams brings individuals into the full awareness of their purpose and God’s will for their life.
There is a heavy burden on Bishop Williams’ spirit for men in this present society. Satan has stolen virtually everything from them; their authority in the home, church, their masculinity, their self-esteem and confidence. Bishop Williams has a message of healing, restoration, power and submission specifically for men.
Bishop Williams lives his life as an example of a “real” man – truly submitted to God and totally committed to his family, the church and his ministry.
Dr. E. Denise Williams has a special anointing to minister directly to women, to teach and guide them into their proper place in the home, church and in the Body of Christ. Bishop Stanley Williams also has the same burden for our men. Under their unified teaching, the Fire of the Word faith Center Church family and all who are subject to this anointing will raise up communities and cities as God intends for them to be. Real homes, real families, real men and women of God with every aspect of their lives fully committed to him.
Dr. E. Denise “Dee” Williams is Co-Pastor of Fire of the Word Faith Center Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She and her husband Bishop Stanley Williams have embarked on the spiritually and personally challenging journey that God has set before them to bring the communities of Jacksonville and the surrounding areas under submission to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A native of Newark, NJ, and the seventh of ten children, Dr. E. Denise Williams’ childhood was not an easy one with the loss of both parents by the age of eighteen. However, at an early age, she made the decision to make Jesus Lord of her life and remained active in the choirs and ministry at Revival Temple Center of Deliverance in Newark until her move to Jacksonville.
An anointed and dynamic teacher of the Word, Dr. E. Denise Williams’ childhood experiences coupled with her educational training at Farleigh Dickinson University where she received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Social Work, has given her ministry a special sensitivity to the needs of the woman. The Lord has seen fit to use her to bring emotional healing to women who have been hurt, rejected, and deceived.
Dr. E. Denise Williams has a Rhema Word from God in her spirit to bring women to the full knowledge of their intended place in the home, church and the Body of Christ. It is time to “let the men be the men”. The devil has managed to virtually wipe out the male’s rightful identity in the home, church, and the Body of Christ, and given their responsibilities to the women. Now, is the time for true women of God to come forth and submit to the will of God while lifting their men up before the Lord and allowing Him to restore them to the spiritual and natural authority and dominion given to them.
Pastor Eunice Denise Williams is a true woman of God, a virtuous wife and mother of two, who has patterned her home after the Word of God as stated in Proverbs 31. She maintains a godly balance between her duties as Co-Pastor, her ministry and the home she provides for her husband and their children, Camielle and Stanley Jr.
Pastor Stanley M. Williams founded Fire of the Word Faith Center Church in 1991. Pastor Williams re-located to Jacksonville in 1990. He and his wife Eunice have pastored a growing church for the past 15 years. Pastor Williams began this ministry using a local hotel as the meeting place. As the ministry began to take in membership, a new location was obtained in a local storefront. The ministry remained there for four years until it outgrew this location. As the ministry grew a new location was leased which was now a five store strip mall. The ministry occupied all five of the units, which were a total of about 10,000sqft. The church remained there for seven years.
In 2004 the ministry purchased their first church property at 4401 Georgetown Dr.
This was a very exciting time for the ministry because the church had tried to purchase this property in 1998 and was not able to succeed.
Fire of The Word is a non-denominational ministry; however it is connected to several Fellowship Ministries. One of which is Dr. Fredrick Price in Los Angeles Ca., the other Dr. I.V. Hilliard in Houston, TX.
Since its inception our church has continued to grow to well over a thousand members. We now have an 85% rate of tithers and givers in our church with an estimated 220 giving units. We have two services on Sunday which allows us to see on a weekly basis including two bible study nights about 360 members overall. The average age of our congregation is 35.
Fire of the Word is a ministry that is charismatic yet keeping with the traditions that teach biblical standards.
