The purpose of the Worship & Arts Ministry is to provide devotion that will enlighten the preached word of God through singing, drama, dance and instrumental music.

The Prophetic Voices of Praise provide  a vehicle of evangelism whose expressions are embodied through song of varied genre: Anthems, Contemporary and Traditional Gospel Music, Hymns, Spirituals and Original songs inspired by the Holy Spirit.  The choir sings every Sunday except 3rd Sunday and rehearsal times are Thursdays, 6:30pm

The Mighty Men of Valor is committed to empower men to become leaders, role models and to make a difference in our community through sound biblical principles and teaching.  We are a group of men dedicated to overcoming things this world could  use to bound men and to improve ourselves and each other as men, fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, friends, and Christians.

At Fire of the Word, our Men’s Ministry meets monthly for enrichment which will provide avenues for ministry as they serve in the Church and in the community.  Planned fellowship outings pave the way to build relationship among them, as well as to reach those who are saved and unsaved.  Every first Sunday, the MMOV serve as TempleGuards in Ministry, operating in the capacity of Ushers. The members work together in an environment that fosters the Christian spirit.

The purpose of our Children’s Ministry is to provide an area that is safe, spiritual and educational for children during regular worship services.

Hospitality Ministry

This ministry assists the Pastor in welcoming visitors, members and various churches to Fire of the WordFaithCenterChurch

Transportation Ministry

This ministry seeks to provide transportation to our guest speakers during conferences, seminars and other special events.  As God continues to plant, the ministry endeavors to expand servant hood to provide transportation to the members of FOTW and the community to worship celebrations and other FOTW activities.

Ushers’ Ministry

The Ushers' Ministry seeks to be a doorkeeper in the House of God.  It is their goal to provide support to the people of God during worship and to ensure that worship is carried out respectfully.  This ministry performs ushering duties and receives visitors and members in a Christ-like fashion and cheerful manner.

Security Ministry

This ministry assists visitors, wheelchair patrons, members and the elderly in parking needs and controls the flow of traffic. They monitor the grounds and provide a safe atmosphere to visitors and members.

Discipleship

Fire of the Word’s New Members Orientation and class provides information to our members concerning their profiles, classes and any other pertinent membership information. In this ministry, we are able to provide Bishop Williams with key information that pertains to the overall membership. It is Bishop William’s desire that our membership grows spiritually as well as numerically. Additionally, its primary responsibility is to orient new believers in God's Word.

New Members’ class will cover the beliefs and doctrines of Fire of the Word that are based from Holy Scriptures. In addition, New Member Orientation acquaints new members with various areas of service in the church. As we continue to provide essential, concise and accurate information into the hands of our Visionary and the congregation, we will be able to carry out the vision of the Ministry and move to higher and higher dimensions locally, regionally and globally.
